One of my favorite quotes is:
“You can be a masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time.”
I think many of us look for ourselves in the definitive moments of life. If we do that though, sometimes we miss the joy in discovering who we can become.
Life is messy. We are messy. We are art. We are a masterpiece on a limitless canvas which could always use more color and love. Our progress doesn’t need to end.
